Accident Summary:

The aircraft crashed and burned. The lower planetary system failed as the result of failure of 7 or 8 planetary gear bearings. The primary failure was probably the assow/cage or roller failure of one or more planetary gear bearings causing overload of the sungear teeth resulting in main transmission lower planetary gear system failure
